Tono Senior High School
School History
Since its inception in 1896, Tono Senior High School has created more than 15 thousand alumni, (15,963 graduates by March 2006) many of whom have become exemplary citizens of the world.
Tono Senior High School is the 4th oldest high school in the Gifu prefecture. It is situated on a hill overlooking the picturesque town of Mitake, whose long and colorful history is only matched by its natural beauty.
Today, Tono Senior High continues its long tradition of molding and guiding young minds, preparing them to be future model citizens by providing an ideal educational environment for both students and teachers.
