Ogaki Special Needs School is a school for children with intellectual disabilities , mentally handicapped children ; elementary school pupils, junior high school students and senior high school students. The educational aim of our school is to increase possibilities of each pupil and student by doing elaborate education according to their needs. We aim to improve their motivations that they will live strongly, brightly and friendly, also to develop their basic and fundamental abilities. The term of big change Our school was a special needs education school for children with intellectual disabilities alone. However since 2017, our school have become a special needs education school for integration (intellectual disabilities, physically disabilities, and health impairment) Also, the north school building is renovated this year, and the high school for special needs education in the Seino area will be opened in 2018. Exactly, we will have a time to become a new Ogaki special needs education school. In 2017, there are 76 elementary school students, 42 junior high school students, 148 high school students, totaling 266 students. At the term of big change, toward realizing children’s dreams, we want to work the best with guardians and local people to maximize the potential of each student. Thank you for your consideration.
